bay area Fishing Report

finally a sunny day! hit the bay with my brother, caught a few nice halibuts, biggest was 10 lbs! used some swimbaits that worked like magic. couldn’t ask for a better day, sun was shining and the fish were biting!

met some friends for fishing this morning, weather was still overcast. caught a bunch of smaller trout, but nothing over 2lbs. we had fun tho, just chatting and casting. gonna try a different spot next time

perfect day for fishing! overcast but the wind was low so we decided to go to the golden gate. got a nice mix of salmon and some more rockfish. used a downrigger, the fish were at about 90 ft. feeling good about this trip!

hit the docks early, just me and my buddy. the skies were gray but we still had luck! caught a couple of 4lb lings, plus some smaller species for fun. tossed em back after a quick pic. used some squid, classic!

went out on my kayak this afternoon, overcast but kinda nice. caught a few rock cod and a couple of bluegills. just using a simple jig setup, nothing fancy. fish are biting slow but we managed some decent size
