ausable river Fishing Report

man it was super misty this morning, but i got lucky with a sweet 3lb brook trout! used a little fly rod and had a blast. the peacefulness of fog on the river is something special. love this place!

went out today, saw some rain but we decided to brave it. ended up with a couple of decent catches, including a 4lb bass! they were shy at first but started biting when the rain picked up. so fun!

had a sunny day out on the river, caught a few nice rainbow trout in the early morning. used some powerbait, they were hitting hard! felt really good to be out there with the sun on my face.

partly cloudy today was a nice change from the rain! hooked into a nice 5lb pike, it wriggled so much tho, but landed it finally. spinner was the trick. spent the day with my buddy, good times!

another overcast day on the river, had some luck with the walleye. caught 3 keepers, all around 2-3lbs. used a jig and minnow combo that worked like a charm. can't wait to go back!
