port macdonnell Fishing Report

hey folks, despite the light rain showers today, I hit up port macdonnell early this morning. started around sunrise with a light jacket, it was chilly at like 10 degrees but I was keen! used my favorite silver spoon lure and wow, did it pay off. caught a couple of nice flathead, one about 60cm! fought like a champ too. had a few missed bites but that's fishing right? wind was pretty mild at 15 km/h so that helped. headed back around sunset, soaked but happy. worth every drop! 🎣
