noosa river Fishing Report

finally a sunny day! went fishing early in the morning and got a couple of big flathead, around 60cm! used a soft plastic paddle tail, they were hungry! easy breeze, perfect day out on the water, can’t ask for more!

no sun today but had a nice day out with the crew. caught mainly small bream, nothing huge but still fun. we used the usual bread and worms, but they were picky, lol. water was pretty cold but still managed to hook a few.

went out again after the rain today, caught a couple decent tailor. like 40cm? used my new spinner, which was way fun! they were biting well even with the drizzle. love this place, such a chill vibe!

overcast day, thought it would be great for fishing - and it was! caught a mix of trevally and a few whiting near the mouth of the river. used some fresh prawns for bait, they couldn’t resist! not too windy either, felt great.

hit the Noosa with my mates today in the drizzle. managed to get a nice estuary cod, felt so good to finally catch one! was using a popper and it attracted a lot of attention. not many people out, just the way I like it!
