gold coast today Fishing Report

partly cloudy but nice conditions! i went to my usual spot and scored a few good size jewfish. used a heavy jig and it paid off! felt some nice pulls. had a blast, can’t wait for the next trip! best days are always on the water.

overcast day, but still got out on the water. managed to reel in some river perch. they were a little shy tho, but we tried various lures. a few laughs and good company made it a fun day overall! would do it again.

finally a sunny day! hit the gold coast early this morn, water was calm and clear. caught heaps of trevally, perfect for dinner. used my favorite popper, they couldn't resist it! love this sport, every trip is an adventure!

today was one of those heavy rain days, we barely got out but when we did, it was on! managed to snag a few small snapper. gear was soaked but the excitement was worth it. who knew fishing in the rain could be so good?!

rainy day fishing is hit or miss, but today was a win! caught 4 flathead, biggest was over 50cm! they were biting on soft plastics. wind was a bit strong but we made it work. sunset was beautiful too, loved it!
